Jon Hoffenberg
President

  • After opening his own company at 19, which grew to over $9 million in annual revenues with a work force of over 1,000, Jon graduated from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, created YellowTelescope, and has overseen over a $1.3 billion dollars in practice results.
  • Jon has been published in myriad articles and books including MedEsthetics, Plastic Surgery Practice (PSP) magazine, RealSelf University, The Business of Plastic Surgery Volume 2, Start Up Nation, and more. Jon is also a consultant and speaker for Sientra Academy.
  • Jon is a Miami Chamber of Commerce HYPE Entrepreneur of the Year, was named one of “40 Under 40” Business Leaders by the South Florida Business Journal (SFBJ), a Sun Sentinel Top Workplace Professional, and his company has been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the “5,000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America” in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Ed Syring III
Executive Vice President and Partner

  • A graduate of Wake Forest University, Ed is currently a Partner and Executive Vice President of YellowTelescope, SEOversite, and iScreamSocialMedia. Closely working with our President since our founding in 2008 (and now a total of over two decades over three companies), Ed is exclusively focused on the growth of our companies.
  • Ed helps create, oversee and execute the YellowTelescope Annual Training Seminar while overseeing Long-Term Oversight clients across North America. He has worked with hundreds of practices throughout his career and has helped guide practice growth totaling hundreds of millions in practice revenue. Through YellowTelescope staffing, he spearheads recruiting for some of the top positions in top practices in the nation, and through ongoing training and marketing consultancy, maximizes efficiencies in lead generation and conversion.
  • Ed began his career in elective medicine as an industry-leading patient care coordinator, personally working with over 10,000 patients and generating over $12 million in revenue for a single practice before following his passion to help as many practices as he can.
  • Ed has been featured in MedEsthetics, Modern Medicine, RealSelf Insight Center, and other publications as well as served on faculty for many industry leading events including American Society Plastic Surgery (ASPS), American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS-ASOA), American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), Global Aesthetics Conference (GAC), Multispecialty Aesthetic Conference, Vegas Cosmetic Surgery Symposium, and NFO-SFO. Ed’s chapter on “Social Media Marketing for the Male Aesthetic Practice,” in the book Aesthetic Surgery for Men: A Comprehensive Clinical Guide is set for publish in 2022.

John Berry
Vice President of SEOversite

  • John has helped generate millions of website visitors and 10's of thousands of leads, and manages 7 figures of marketing spend annually for clients of YellowTelescope’s sister company, SEOversite since 2014. He provides digital strategy for dozens of growing SEOversite projects and personally oversees the spending of millions of marketing dollars annually.
  • He brings over 20 years of high-level sales experience and previously owned his own recruiting business with a staff of over 75 salespeople and managers. John has given speeches in front of groups of a few to a few thousand, including the annual YellowTelescope Training Seminar, ASPS, VCS, AACS, ASAPS, and ASAPS-Australia.

Jill Peeling
Vice President of Operations

  • A graduate of Tulane University, Jill brings over 16 years of sales experience including a decade of medical sales with companies such as Merck, GlaxoSmithKline, and Cytyc. She has worked with hundreds of physicians and their staff in specialties ranging from Dermatology to Gynecology.
  • She previously worked as a sales trainer for small and large pharmaceutical companies, including developing and executing product training and new hire sales training programs, and managed care education for representatives in multiple pharmaceutical companies.
  • Jill oversees day to day operations for YellowTelescope, and sister companies, including organizing all company events, trainings, meetings, employee needs, finances for the company and more. She plans and executes the YellowTelescope Training Seminar annually.
  • Jill has been published several times in Start Up Nation as well as served on faculty for many industry leading events including American Society Plastic Surgery (ASPS), American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), ASCRS-ASOA, and American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). She lives in downtown Miami with her adorable daughter and puppy.

Dan Grantham
Senior Director

  • Dan has consulted with practices for over a decade to increase patient conversions and improve practice efficiency. He works with YellowTelescope's roster of comprehensive clients, helping to staff new hires and spearheads the training and on-going management of Patient Care Coordinators and office staff to ensure that practice growth goals are achieved.
  • After graduating from Florida State University College of Business, Dan started his own business at the age of 21 that grew to over 200 sales reps. As a Patient Care Coordinator, Dan worked with over 15,000 patients and personally sold $28M in surgery with an 85%+ same-day booking ratio. He consulted for and personally developed and implemented sales programs for a medical weight loss company that helped grow the company's revenue from $4M annually to over $80M annually in less than 3 years.
  • Dan has been featured in MedEsthetics as well as served on faculty at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons (AACS) meeting and Florida Combined Otolaryngology Meeting. He volunteers with local organizations benefiting students in at-risk communities and children with autism.
Abby Karcz

Abby Karcz
Senior Consultant

  • As a Senior Consultant, Abby works with YT Long-Term practices and medspas across the world, from Scotland to the Bay Area, helping to guide practice growth through improved conversions, efficiency, and marketing. In addition to consulting, she co-spearheads ReceptionScope and YT Mystery Caller, and oversees the brand marketing for YellowTelescope, SEOversite, and iScreamSocialMedia.
  • Prior to joining YT, Abby spent 8 years overseeing patient coordinating and marketing for two renowned Bay Area plastic surgeons. In that time, Abby trained with YellowTelescope, averaged an 80% in-office booking ratio, and was responsible for millions in sales. Additionally, she helped grow the practice medspa from 1 location with 2 providers to 2 locations with 10+ providers, increasing sales by 900%. After leaving the practice and before joining YT, she was the Digital Marketing & Brand Strategist for PBHS, the only full-suite marketing agency endorsed by ADA Member Advantage.
  • Abby is a consultant and speaker for Sientra Academy, and has spoken on practice growth at The Aesthetic Show, on ColoreScience webinars and other live events. She is also published as a co-author in The Business of Plastic Surgery: Navigating a Successful Career, 2nd Edition. Abby is a graduate of Colorado State University and obtained an additional Certificate in Marketing from UCLA. She lives in the beautiful Sonoma County, CA wine country with her husband, toddler, baby, and dog.

Danielle Scott
Senior Consultant

  • Prior to joining YellowTelescope’s Sr. Consulting team, Danielle was inarguably one of the most successful Patient Care Coordinators in YT history, having maintained over a 97% same-day booking ratio year-round. She was known for her streak of 100+ surgery consults booked in a row, million-dollar sales months, and one of the top two overall sales results in our history. Beyond growing the practice with sales, she helped improve front desk efficiency & service, as well as social media marketing results.
  • Danielle also brings nearly a decade of combined experience in advertising sales at MTV Networks, representing Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, VH1, & Spike TV, along with aesthetic industry experience, partnering top salons with luxury beauty brands including Davines, Eufora, and Paul Mitchell.
  • Danielle works with YellowTelescope Long-Term Consulting clients to achieve practice growth. She, additionally, co-spearheads ReceptionScope by YellowTelescope’s webinar series and YT Mystery Caller program, plus leads the team vision at our sister company, iScreamSocialMedia.
  • She is a first-generation college graduate with a BA in Communication from the University of Southern California and has completed the UCSD Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program. She was an NCAA Division 1-A Football Team athlete, serving as a Spirit Leader on the cheerleading team at USC, which at the time was coached by Pete Carroll and won multiple championship and bowl games. Danielle currently lives in the La Jolla area with her husband.

Mae McNamara
Director of Operations

  • Mae brings 10 years of operations experience focused on business growth and development. She currently, alongside our VP of Operations, oversees the operations for all YellowTelescope companies. Mae played an integral role in launching and growing our sister company, iScreamSocialMedia, from inception and is personally responsible for the social media success of dozens of clients.
  • Mae has an extensive background in management, behavioral economics, and marketing. Her knowledge of logistics, project management, budget process, and human resources is a valuable asset to the operations team for our three companies. She is a double-major graduate of the University of Maine and speaks on a variety of topics related to business growth and marketing at the Annual YT Seminar.
  • When she isn’t working away as our operations maven, she spends her time exploring the canyons and beaches in San Diego with her energetic family of 4 (and soon-to-be 5)!
