The 12th Annual YellowTelescope Training Seminar was a smashing success! Our largest event ever was full of unparalleled education, epicurean delights, remarkable entertainment, and ocean views for days. Let’s get into some of the highlights from our 2022 YT Seminar. And if this looks like something your practice can benefit from (as it should), e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call (305) 455-0720 to learn more about next year’s event before we sell out.
This year we ventured outside of Miami for the first time and found ourselves on the azure beaches of Cancún, Mexico. Greeted at the airport with YT-branded Mexican hand fans and the front lobby with fresh dragon fruit beverages, we checked into the Grand Hotel Cancún managed by Kempinski (aka the Ritz-Carlton Cancún), a 5-star location with stunning views of the cerulean ocean and a world-class staff, the perfect backdrop for the event.
While it is easy to convince people to go to Cancún (we mean, it’s Cancún…), the real reason nearly 300 people convened at the Grand Hotel was for the food. Ok, although the food was incredible, the real real reason was to learn about the YT philosophy. The seminar featured two days of intensive training, focused on driving practice sales and revenue growth, staffing, management, doctors’ consultations, objection handling, follow-ups, social media, paid ads, web marketing, and more. A new addition to this year’s event was our brand new 5-hour YellowTeleMedSpa Course for providers, med spa owners & managers, and non-surgical sales staff. Advanced attendees (those returning for 2+ years) partook in The Advanced Course breakout providing superb new content, and our VIPs (those returning for 3+ years) were treated to an exclusive session led by our Executive VP & Partner, Ed Syring.
But, back to the food! When in Mexico, certain foods must be tried, like fresh-made churros and tamales. During the Seminar, we sipped on spiced Mexican coffee and Abuelita (hot chocolate), enjoyed fresh ceviche made four ways, and snacked on sizzling quesadillas hot off the griddle. The true star of the culinary show was dinner at Harry’s Prime Steakhouse and Raw Bar after completing the first day. Champagne and passion fruit margaritas flowed as we enjoyed camembert with blueberry chutney, tuna tartar, Black Onyx ribeye, filet mignon, roasted salmon, and 24k golden leaf lemon pie. After dinner, we lit up the sky with fireworks and sparklers over the water, and danced the night away. Ain’t no party like a YT party!
To ensure our guests enjoyed the sun in style, we geared them up with UV color-changing sunglasses and custom Turkish towels. (And yes, they were the real deal, imported from Turkey!) Since we also own a social media company, every guest received a phone tripod to capture stellar video content at home for their feeds. Of course, our dancing robots from our sister company, SEOversite, and signature jumbo pens also made another appearance, and everyone left with an insulated YT water bottle to stay hydrated! VIP, Advanced, and MedSpa track folks also received extra special swag…if you know, you know.
In the words of our friend and client Dr. Romanelli, “The bottom line is that the process of consultative sales, as described and taught by Jon and the team, is just authentic, it’s ethical, and it absolutely works.” Our flagship annual event is a masterclass in YT philosophy, presented exclusively by the YellowTelescope team, so you get the dedicated time you deserve to learn and ask questions. Our guests range from the world’s top doctors (in plastics, facial plastics, dermatology, oculplastics etc.) to med spa owners, nurse injectors, managers, and patient care coordinators; and while the education you receive at this seminar is the main draw, the ability to pick each other’s brains, network, and socialize is definitely a front running reason to come back year after year! Like we always say, “A weekend of sharing the best practices for the best practices, with the best practices.”
Though our sojourn in Cancún was amazing, we’re already looking ahead to the 13th Annual YT Training Seminar on October 20 & 21st, 2023! We are excited to share that it will take place at The Cove at Paradise Island, Bahamas!. This fabulous, 5-Star resort within the friendly confines of Paradise Island’s Atlantis, has everything: gorgeous ocean view rooms, azure powder sand beaches, an adults-only pool, waterpark and activities for children, and is just a 40 minute flight from Miami with many cities flying directly to Nassau as well. The event is currently sold out, and we are only accepting spots on the waitlist, which also will get you first access to our 2024 event. Please call (305) 455-0720 or e-mail email@example.com immediately to get on the list!
To all of our 2022 YT Seminar attendees, thank you for making the trip to Cancún. It was our best event yet and it wouldn’t have been the same without you. ¡Saludos!
